Well, my second wake up here in Sydney in a month to find an email from the U.S. with absolutely great news. I managed to be a finalist last time, but now...
Harry's World has won the Bronze Medal for the category of Best Fiction from Australia & New Zealand in the 2016 Independent Publisher Book Awards (known as the IPPYs in the publishing community).
What a great way to start Friday!
My warmest wishes and congratulations to the Gold and Silver medalists, Jenni Ogden for A Drop in the Ocean, and Dean Mobbs for The Expressionist.
The only downside to getting such wonderful emails at dawn here is that it's too early for a celebratory drink!!!
However, this afternoon will be a different story.
