Book signing in the Hunter Valley - a beautiful day in the sunshine

My many thanks to Ann and Carrol at Village Books in the Hunter Valley for hosting my author signing day on Saturday.  It was a beautiful sunny winter day and we had a great time.
Met plenty of people and had some interesting chats about writing and crime.  Even had a recommendation for another French writer I hadn't encountered, Gerard de Villiers, so I'll be trying him out.  And, most importantly, signed copies of Harry's World for a bunch of eager readers.

EVENT - Book signing in the Hunter Valley - Saturday 11 June

Excited at the prospect of my first bookshop author signing day tomorrow, Saturday 11 June, up in the beautiful Hunter Valley.
I'll be at Village Books in the Hunter Valley Gardens at Pokolbin from 11 a.m. onwards.
Looking forward to meeting new folks and talking about Harry's World with them, and anything else they care to chat about!
Except, of course, the election - way too dull.  Anyway, who on earth would want to talk about that when there's all the crime, corruption and sex to wax lyrical about!
Cheers, and hope to see you at Village Books.

Ashfield Library Double Author Talk

10/6/2016

Last Thursday saw Nigel Bartlett and myself do our first double author talk.  Nigel emceed my book launch for Harry's World back in November and is the author of King of the Road, a great crime read.  We are also in the same writing group.
It was a fun evening at Ashfield Library and many thanks to Therese and her crew for hosting us.  Nigel and I both enjoyed discussing our respective novels and our writing influences and processes.
And as an added bonus I got to meet another local writer, Walter Mason.
